Samcheongdong Korea Guesthouse

Hospedarme allí fue como transportarme al pasado. Cada espacio tiene una estética de una época que se perdió, en el mejor de los sentidos. La cama y la habitación fueron cómodas. La heladera, los espacios compartido, el baño, el filtro, todo funcionó perfecto. Si vuelvo a Seoul, volvería a este lugar sin dudas.

Solo algunos detalles. En ningún momento vi al personal del alojamiento, ni interactué con ellos. Hubieras sido bonito preguntarles cosas acerca del barrio, pero nada más que eso. El piso en algunos lugares no estaba tan limpio y el baño tenía algunas pequeñas pérdidas de agua.

Close to/beside the Buchkon-area and some royal palaces. Friendly welcome by the staff.

No AC. There were e.g. still leftovers from former guests (garbage from contact lenses by the window), so cleaning was not really satisfactory. Also, they had an event in/at the house until 7pm, which I found a bit weird. Not sure if that was an exception though.

If you like to keep it very simple, it's the best place in Jongro. Great location, quiet, affordable, with washing machine and a friendly host.
