Dalbit stay Seodaejeon

Our host was friendly and even waited for us before our arrival to make sure everything runs smoothly. Kitchen and common area had an extensive amount of appliances. For placement with roommates our host was accommodating and left us a free bed in our room, which was very nice. The guesthouse is located well, in walking distance to Seodaejeon Station (KTX) and the subway station Oryong. From there it is only a little ways to Daejeon station and the intercity bus terminal.

While the photos on Booking look promising, when we arrived it was basically to a whole different accommodation (see pictures attached). The place seemed clean at first glance but let's just say it wasn't up to standard of what we came across other guesthouses during our stay in Korea and our attached pictures look a lot nicer than it was in real life. For example, one of us accidentally dropped their glasses and there was so much dirt (and other things) under the beds, it was disgusting. Another example, during our five days there our trash can in the room wasn't emptied once, even though the description clearly says daily housekeeping. Also, the towels and sheets in between guests were left in the washing machine for over a day before they were put on the drying rack. The bathroom in general was very run down, even though the shower etc worked properly, the waterproof coating from the door came off, there was toilet paper in the corner that got wet from showering so often it started getting moldy, and the anti-slip mat on the floor hasn't seen a clean day in a while. Because of that, unfortunately, our stay was a lot less enjoyable than expected and we spent most of our time away from the place.
