Hooni Guest House & Motel

Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Our host was friendly and incredibly helpful (even booking a hiking pass for us and giving directions to suitable spots)! The breakfast is simple and all that is needed.

Whilst the location is somewhat far from Gurye town, snacks and drinks can be purchased at the accommodation, so we didn't go hungry.

The owner and her son were so friendly and welcoming. She recommended so many sightseeing attractions and took great care in telling us how to get to each spot. Our room had a gorgeous river view and it was very spacious and clean. The motel is located a short drive from many restaurants, cafes and convenience stores. The breakfast was simple but perfect for us as we headed out to hike quite early. We loved our time at Hooni Guesthouse and will definitely stay there the next time that we visit the Jirisan region.

Our only complaint is not the fault of the motel but rather the other guests. There was a group of women who got quite drunk in the common area on our second night and then stood in the hallway shouting between their rooms and slamming doors well after 10pm.
