Garden Grove

The apartment itself is very beautiful and well taken care of, and close to the beach. For a family of 5 this was a perfect place where to stay, and the staff attending the property were very friendly.

Our understanding from the description of the property was that it's part of a hotel (it's listed as an aparthotel). But there is no "hotel". There is no reception, so it was a bit confusing to find the apartment. No communication was provided prior to arrival regarding where or how we should check in. Luckily someone was attending to the apartment where we were supposed to stay, so by chance we found the right place and the right person. In addition, some items listed on the booking site were not in fact provided (i.e. toiletries - no shower gel or shampoo was provided, and we had to ask for hand soap). No public amenities like a gym are there (you can access one, but it's a 10-15min drive away). Because of these small details, the place did not meet our expectations. It would help to amend the description on this site so that travellers know what to expect. Otherwise it is a beautiful place and I would stay here again.

The indoor space

The outdoor space was tatty and needs tiling the grass was poor , we never went outside . Garden furniture rubbish

Loved the rooftop sundeck with plunge pool

We were moved to the sister property Palm Grove 100mts along the road. The Townhouse was excellent, very modern and clean and well maintained with everything you would need. However, MAJOR NEGATIVE was the dogs, especially the one right next to the property it barked virtually continually from dawn to dusk with little or no let up every single day it really was a nightmare and completely spoilt our time at the property

Position across the road from the beach , good local restaurants, fully stocked kitchen , washer , dryer , roof top terrace . Friendly staff

Nicole and her staff were lovely, so accomodating and friendly. I would highly recommend Garden Grove for its proximity to the lovely beach accross the road.

Excellent property overall, but with some issues.

The bed sheet was too small and therefore came off every night. The second property was cleaned after it had been decorated. None of the Airconditioning had thermostat control.
