Hotel La Cascada

Location was right across the street from the ocean. Next door the stream cascades by. If you know Montezuma, the hotel is right at the start of the waterfall trail. The restaurant/bar on site was excellent.

The front desk staff were quite absent and when they were there were not very helpful.

Cleanliness and facilities.

Location was great. Right near the start of the path to the waterfall in Montezuma. At night you can hear the river and the ocean. We booked a “junior suite”, had a double bed and air conditioning. A/C worked great. It’s about a 7min walk into Montezuma along the waterfront (flat terrain walk). We loved this, as Montezuma can get very loud with music and party’s at night. We were close by but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness. The place is well maintained and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. The people who own and work at La Cascada are very nice and welcoming. This is among my top 2 spots to stay in Montezuma. I would definitely return.

Nothing negative.

The location is great, right in front of the sea, with a terrace full of relaxing hammocks, great to get fresh air away from direct sun. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom have a good size, with fans for the heat. the place was clean.

Sadly there was no breakfst, but available coffee to be made in the open space. Lighting in the room could be improved.
