Beautifully appointed, looks incredible

There were a number of issues with the hotel when we stayed there, minor, but for a hotel in this budget range you shouldn’t experience them

Very nice breakfast, buffet for fruit, cereals, pastries etc. and waitress service for cooked items. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is extremely close to the centre of the city and all the "street life", but oh so quiet and peaceful inside. The hotel has a lovely roof pool and sunbed area with an amazing view of the Grand Harbour. Really nice but small indoor pool along with the sauna and small gym in the basement. Very clean and dust free hotel, although we did have a visit from a cockroach, surprising really as we were on the 4th floor but I suppose it is the med.

The beds were not the most comfortable, possibly due for new mattresses. There was no mirror in the bedroom so a little difficult when drying your hair (the wife that is), or that final inspection before you exit the room. (Room 407). Other rooms did have mirrors fitted. The bathroom mirror although fairly large was a little too high for my vertically challenged wife. The TV was a waste of time as the reception was extremely poor, I don't need to keep up with Emmerdale but I do like to catch up with the news occasionally. There was a little lack of wardrobe and drawer space so you have to live out of your suitcase a little bit, obviously ok for people only staying 3-4 days but a little awkward for a 7 day stay. All minor items that wouldn't put me off staying again though.

Das Zimmer war winzig. Auch das Badezimmer war viel zu klein und hatte keine Ablagen nur ein äusserst wackeliges Glasbrett über dem Waschbecken. Die vorhandenen Kosmetikartikel waren von sehr minderer Qualität. Das Zimmer hat kein Tageslicht, da es in den Innenhof schaut und war dementsprechend düster und stickig. Auch fühlte man sich nicht sicher wenn man es öffnete. Das Frühstück war eine Zumutung und der Preis in keinster Weise gerechtfertigt. Man musste die Speisen bestellen, was ewig gedauert hat.

This hotel is located in the heart of Valletta. It’s close to all restaurants and sites of interest as well as ferries. The staff are all incredibly friendly and dedicated to their customers. Nothing was a problem. The rooms are very comfortable but not massive. Breakfast was comprehensive and very tasty. Always got a perfect egg with the Eggs Benedict. The rooms were spotless. The pool and bar area have the best views of the grand harbour and plenty of sun lounger’s. Great WiFi throughout the hotel and Netflix and YouTube on the room TV. The beds are very comfortable and the showers large with rain head shower with great flow and heat.

I can’t say there was anything that I did not like about this hotel. Don’t expect massive rooms or OTT extravagance if that’s what you’re after.
