Moorside Rooms

Moorside is warm and comfortable. Samantha was very welcoming and the carrot cake an unexpected bonus. Facilities were good and the family room a good size -better than many hotels.

There was carpet in the room and the bathroom was inconvenient based on what I am accustom to in the USA. It had 2 separete faucets for hot and cold. The shower was too small to wash in and the water pressure was very light. Having said that, it was a fairly good value for the cost which was quite low.

Not near downtown Portree but…. it was so perfectly placed to literally everything in Skye! On top of it the owner, Sam, is hands down the best business owner. Every little detail she thought of to make my stay amazing.

Great place just outside of portree (10min car drive), good links to rest of the island. Sam (Hostess) was very friendly. Rooms were clean and well kept with lots of complimentary items. Overall a fantastic place to stay when visiting skye will definitely come back on future visits.

The BnB was located in a quiet area, not far from Portree. Host was very kind and sent message in advance to inform re how crowded portree restaurants can be and advised to book in advance (i didn’t). The room is clean and simple. She also provided tea, coffee and some snacks in the room. Our bathroom, while dedicated for our use, is located right opp our room. It is a very big bathroom. Good toiletries were provided, the bathroom towels were luxurious (Egyptian cotton). 1 thing i really really like is the breakfast box. We took it away for our hike and had half of it as breakfast prior to our hike and the remaining as a snack for our hike. I can feel the thoughtfulness into the box and each day’s is different. Thank you very much for that.

Cosy and well thought out room. Nice amenities and breakfast bag was excellent. Highly recommended.
