La Mansarda di Via Zamboni

Property was in the center of Bologna however i forgot to check if the property had any elevators and was surprised to find this spot located at the very top. Personnel was very helpful and carried my heavy almost 50lb luggage all the way up, can't say the same for my husband. It was an experience and literally breathtaking. Overall we felt comfortable and loved the location. We walked to the train station from here and it was not bad.

Its in a great location but we were on the top floor of 4 flights of very steep stairs trying to carry heavy suit case. there was no help from the girl who showed us the room. We are elderly and probably shouldnt have booked a place with such steep stairs. But the location was absolutely perfect and the room was charming. I had to fix the bed as a few of the wooden slats in the base were broken and the mattress sank. Despite the roof top apartment being up high there was no view from the windows. If I came back again would definitely request a lower floor

Overall it was great. It would’ve been nice to know that there is no elevator because the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there were a lot of stairs, so if you’re coming with a lot of luggage, it is a struggle. The apartment has a regular bed and a sofa bed, which were pretty comfortable. We did need more sheets and towels during our stay. The location was perfect and the communication with the staff was also very good.
