Location and the neighborhood

It was my first time at OD Madrid and enjoyed my stay, it's an excellent 4 star property. The staff is friendly and welcoming, starting with the welcoming vermouth, pure Madrid style. My room was spacious, comfortable, well appointed and the wifi worked very well. Breakfast is excellent, the selection of items on the buffet as well as the a la cart menu. I had dinner at Mar Mia and enjoyed it a lot: the food, the service and the ambience (outdoor patio), everything was perfect. The roof top has a small splash pool with sun lounges, a refreshing break. I will definitely be back next time I am in Madrid.

Great hotel in the middle of everything, nearby the palace, metro, taxi, plaza mayor etc. Rooms and staff are excellent. The restaurant is not so good. Uninterested staff (with exceptions), looking at their cellphones constantly, not paying attention. the breakfast is also not so good. Although there is a nice veriaty of food, the wow factor is missing, specially compared to the quality of the hotel. You would expect more choice, what is there is very basic. i do like my icecubes in my drinks and that was never a problem to get them from the bar into my room. The pool area is nice but unfortunatly it was to warm to fully enjoy it.

El hotel es muy agradable y está muy bien ubicado. La habitación es espaciosa y muy confortable. No se oye el ruido de la calle. Y es todo un detalle que al llegar te den agua como bienvenida, ¡con el calor que hace estos días!

Las almohadas eran algo incómodas y he echado de menos un armario.

This hotel was fabulous!!!! I will stay there any time I go to Madrid. The location was great. Very beautiful and felt very safe. Felt comfortable walking at night. The plaza before the opera house was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing. I took a picture of my bowl of fruit because it was so beautifully prepared. The rooms were large and had many amenities. Robe and slippers, full fridge, food! The staff were excellent. The pool and seating area on the top was out of this world. Best view! If you haven't decided on a hotel yet, look no further. This hotel is truly a gem! I felt like a princess staying at this hotel.

Bed was comfortable but not luxurious. I had two twins since my daughter was planning to stay with me one night (but didn't). I found it difficult to pump the soap out of the containers when taking a shower. That's it. No other complaints. I felt like I was on a luxury vacation staying at Ocean Drive.
