Lägenheten var väldigt fin, dock låg den i en liten gränd och på kvällarna kändes det lite otrevligt att gå där när det var sent

1. The location is very good, close to the old marina and all tourist attractions. There are plenty of grocery shops, cafes and food places nearby — very handy both if you want to eat in the apartment and out. 2. The management organised key pick up and drop off smoothly. 3. The apartment is newly renovated, equipped with a washing machine, a kitchen and a dishwasher — works well for people who want to have a full breakfast and have a toddler. 4. The management provided us with extra towels, duvet and pillow, and a cot. 5. No noise despite the street had bars and lots of shops.

1. The location despite being very central is safe and full of people during the day but a bit creepy during the night as there are pushers right on the corner near the entrance. Though there were no incidents or noise and there is no one if you come back before 9 pm but just be aware of that. 2. It would be great to provide visitors with some dish soap, napkins, extra toilet paper and extra bin liners/bag as there was none but there is a requirement from the management to throw away the garbage (which should be separated when throwing it away) and dishes washed. There was only 1 pill for the dishwasher and 1 toilet roll provided. 3. The apartment is pretty dark however I guess this is due to Genova's building situation mostly. 4. Internet was very weak everywhere but in the kitchen. 5. Not buggy or wheelchair friendly: stairs at the entrance and on the way to the elevator.

Really clean and spacious apartments in the absolute centre of the city. Perfect location for seeing the city and very close to lots of restaurants. Very comfortable beds and nice bathroom linen. The shower was very warm and the bathroom was nice and spacious.

The hosts had kindly accepted to meet us for an earlier check in but then we couldn’t find them and tried to call the number made available and it wasn’t operational. Eventually we managed to get through and they were outside the building and we were in the lobby (it was raining heavily so we immediately went inside). We asked for a later check out and were told no so 10am check out is very early especially with two small children. They never arrived at 10am and we waited until 10.15am and then left. The building isn’t very practical for a family with a buggy with lots of stairs and a very narrow door to get through. The second apartment bed was not made up and there was only one toilet roll left for 4 adults for 3 nights! There was also tea and coffee left but only enough for 2 adults and again for 1 night. It would be a nice touch to have enough tea/coffee for the few nights. There also wasn’t enough cutlery and no basic things like a bottle opener. Small issues but something you expect in self catering apartment!

It is a taste of real Italy, lively street action, loud Italians to the wee hours, and the smell of bread baking 12 hrs a day. A great time, close to everything or a bus stop that will get you there.
