Lavandeira Douro Nature & Wellness

Mooie en zeer rustige locatie. Het is rustig, de groene omgeving is prachtig. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, de kamer was ruim en proper. De wellness is klein maar fijn! Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en het eten in het restaurant is lekker.

De chaos en zeer trage bediening. Het team mist structuur. Op verschillende momenten moesten we zeer lang wachten om bijvoorbeeld een drankje te krijgen. Er werden zaken vergeten, zowel drank als eten. Het is lekker en verzorgd, maar de bediening was hierdoor niet volgens onze verwachting.

Our stay at Lavandeira Douro was simply exceptional. The property itself is stunning, but what truly sets it apart is the attention to detail. The cleanliness is on another level, and the amazing scent throughout the property creates such a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the towels felt very high quality — all the small details that make a stay truly memorable. Every single staff member was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful — from the reception to the restaurant team — with a special shoutout to Ricardo for his kindness and professionalism. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. Hearing the story behind the property directly from her was truly inspiring and made the experience even more special. The restaurant food was exceptional and clearly lives up to its strong reputation. Everything we tried was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Their in-house wine is also excellent and pairs perfectly with the menu, adding another highlight to the experience. The surroundings are equally beautiful, with scenic trails leading to a nearby river and even down to the Douro River itself, making the stay feel peaceful and connected to nature. In short, we cannot recommend this place enough. A truly memorable experience that we would gladly return to.

O Hotel como um todo está muito bem cuidado e é muito bonito. O restaurante também é bom.

O quarto era pequeno e claustrofobico.
