The Auction House

It was a good location. The general decor is fun.

There were a pair of socks left in the bedside drawer from a previous guest. There was only one water cup yet the room was for two people. The plug in the sink was broken. Everywhere was still locked up at 7.10am and leaving by the back fire exit in the dark is not nice. No where to leave the room key and no early breakfast option or even a chance to get a coffee.

Location to the town, friendly staff

Dirty bed sheets (marks and spots in the linen), cold temperature in the bathroom, standard room very tight for space to move around

Lovely property, quirky decor with small but comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good and staff were very polite and helpful. Does close at 9pm in the weeks though so out of hours entrance is via a keycoded door at the rear of the building. Limited and expensive parking but there is free long stay parking approximately 3minutes walk away. Very central to Morpeth amenities.

Very comfortable and clean, splendid breakfast, friendly staff. Twinings teabags and quality toiletries.

The room was very cold heating only comes on at 4pm so it is fine during the night but it is very cold during the day if you are in the room in the winter, I think the heating needs to be to be on as long as the room is occupied

The rooms are superb & mostly excellent staff.
