Best Western Plus Tacoma Hotel

This is already my fourth time staying at this same hotel.I really like the amenities; the breakfast is very good, and the staff are very hospitable and polite and so kind.

This time I stayed in room 404, and the bathroom specifically, on the toitet, the seat was peeling ,and on the sink, there was a small hole near the light switch have some damage, nothing major.

The hotel itself is old, but the maintenance of the hotel is what is dangerous and very outdated. We went for my grandsons baseball tournament. Our first night after playing all day, we arrived at the hotel at 9:30 we went to our rooms and my son in law went to the car. He got stuck in the elevator, one elevator was already out of order so he took the only working one. He was stuck in the elevator for over a hour and a half. The front desk worker had no idea what to do, she called the fire dept. and they told her it would be at least 45 minutes before they could come. She did not reach out to a manager. After the incident, this hotel NEVER reached out to us to see if we were ok, if we needed anything, nothing! I think that is the worst customer service ever! I would never recommend a BEST WESTERN property! I contacted corporate, no response. Luckily my son in law was stuck and not my grandson!

Beware!!! I reserved a room for four days the first night was $134 I thought I’d be paying $134 for all four nights. not so. It was $145 the second night $152 the third night And $161 the fourth night Why would a hotel pull that kind of crap it completely ruined and otherwise great experience
