Old Spittal Hospital Apartment - Free Parking

It felt like arriving home. The keys were readily accessible as soon as we arrived and we were able to settle in quickly.

A very good apartment that is spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipment. Host, Stuart, provides plenty of information in advance for staying at the property and about local attraction ( and maybe even some homemade bread - which is delicious). The apartment is easy to find and is in a perfect ( and quiet ) location on the way from the town centre cafes & restaurants to the Castle. Our second stay at this apartment and would definitely stay again.

Fine views over Stirling, close to the castle and at the same time quiet surroundings. Stuart is the perfect host. A very nice apartment in the Old Spittal Hospital.

The apartment is very conveniently located (be aware it involves an uphill walk from the station which is quite steep in places though this is normal for the geography of Stirling). Excellent provision of information and clear instructions; folder includes photographs of recommended places which is very helpful. Very generous inclusion of extras; milk, butter, eggs, cereal, home baked bread with ingredients thoughtfully listed in case of allergies / dietary requirements. Very clean, spacious and surrounded by beautiful greenery. Well lit area. Good reliable wi-fi. Good range of recycling bins right on site including one for glass; so many self catering places involve a trek to the nearest bottle bank. Peaceful for such a central location. Lovely views and interesting building.

Just the trek uphill with luggage, but that is more a reflection of my own lockdown laziness and the unusually high temperatures at the time of my stay. Anyway, there are always taxis!

Fantastic location, just a short walk from the castle, jail and shops. Stuart, the host, was amazing. He sent us loads of information, including nearby restaurants, etc. Easy instructions regarding reaching the property, entry, etc. Everything had been thought of and instructions left where necessary. The flat was so clean and fresh and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Stuart also very kindly left us a beautiful home made loaf of bread which was absolutely delicious. Stirling is a lovely place and if returning, we could definitely stay in these apartments again.

Stu was great, he stocked the fridge with essentials and even baked us a loaf of bread! Accommodated our need for an extra night at short notice, just an absolutely fantastic host all around.
