Residence Inn by Marriott Tampa Wesley Chapel

I loved the convenience to the sports complex. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating (especially for having so many children and their parents present in the lobby and pool area - at all hours). The breakfast was good and the snacks/drinks in the lobby for purchase were a hit with all the kiddos. The rooms were clean and very nicely done/updated. The outside grills on the patio and the upstairs indoor/outdoor bar area on the 4th floor were also a very nice touch!

Not enough/no any towels stocked at the pool during a very busy weekend. I would have preferred daily housekeeping for a room refresh. Water pressure in the shower could have been better.

DOGS, DOGS!! They allowed 3 large dogs in the room next door, which barked half the night. When I complained, they said their policy is only two dogs. Yet, after spending 35,000 points for the room, they would only reimburse half the points. Jaden, the desk manager did apologize, but after losing sleep, this felt pretty empty. Plus, we're long term Marriott owners!!! Never again will we go there, and I'd stay away too if I were you. The only reason I gave it a 1 is because zero wasn't an option. Calling Marriott to complain. Again!!

The hotel is a typical Marriott with nice rooms and the perfect location. I’ve stayed here many times for work and will continue to do so. The sky bar is great to visit especially when the local soccer field is in play. Visit the AdventHealth Wellness Center for a daily or weekly membership to one heck of a gym featuring two indoor pools, sauna, smoothie bar, state of the art fitness equipment and an indoor track. My favorite room was 323 with a kitchenette, eat in bar, full length mirror and a large bathroom & closet area. Least favorite was room 203. It was the farthest from the lobby, has no full length mirror, a loud ice maker that startled me every time it dumped ice, and a flashing light on the smoke alarm that is so bright at night when the lights are out. It’s also a connecting room to room 201, smells like dog and when you’re up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom the main bathroom light comes on (and blinds the other person sleeping in the bed) due to the motion sensor. Fortunately we were only there for two nights or I would have asked for a different room. We’re Marriott platinum members so we’ll definitely stay here again, just not in room 203.

bbq was corroded and not functional. people in the pool w/ kids out of control and nobody from the property would do anything about it. staff at the reception were very unhelful and with poor attitude.
