The beach was so close and the staff was exceptionally professional.

En rigtig fin morgenmad, hvor der er noget for enhver smag. Om du er til Thailandsk morgenmad eller internationalt, så var der det hele:-) Der er en del fine restauranter langs strandpromenaden, og hvis man har lyst til at gå lidt op af gaden, er der også en del rigtig fine restauranter til billige priser.

Muligheder for at benytte pools og solsenge. Der var alt for få solsenge ved de to pools omkring 20 i alt ved begge pools. Der var også alt for få solsenge ved stranden. Så hvis du kommer for at solbade og benytte poolen, skal du stå tidligt op for at reservere. Poolen åbner dog først kl. 8.00 Der er lidt flere solsenge ved stranden, men måske maks omkring 30 stk. ialt. I forhold til hvor mange overnattende gæster der er på hotellet, er det slet ikke nok. Restauranterne på hotellet var fine, men alt for dyre, i forhold til den prisleje maden ligger i i Thailand.

for context I booked this hotel with for my partners 30th birthday, on arrival you had the niceties of the very helpful and lovely staff that genuinely seem happy you arrive. after a long flight we arrived at the hotel around midday/ 1pm but the room was not ready until 3pm - to make clear this was normal as it said that on our welcome email and pretty regular for hotels. the location of the hotel although not far to central Pattaya city approxx 15 mins via moped so not bad - the area where the hotel was located itself was what we can see as 'developing'... some of the luxuries of the hotel we enjoyed was that it was basically on the beach! with a bridge and lake that separates the hotel from the beach, there was a fireworks show (we missed unfortunately we heard it was good) they had 2 gyms, -( but whose doing that on holiday with the missus) but had an amazing view from the 8th floor infinity pool which was a first for my partner and i. there was also a buggy onside that the reception staff will drive you to taxi pick up points, the local supermarket nearby the hotel and back - for free! again is very cool. The rooms...disappointing is the simple word, i arranged for the deluxe room and although small which isnt always an issues as it was well layed out the room they allocated us (although i mentioned we are here bc of my partners 30th bday) they gave us a nice room with beautiful views of the carpark...safe to say the view was poor! so disappointed that i dont even think we videoed the room as you would normal do when you arrive. now later when we wanted to sleep, i pulled the sheets to find a cockroach in the bed. but then my partner also saw one next to her on the wall. - _side note - i don't know if the hotel room was infested or sometimes just hazards of the country so do your research. the reception staff were very quick to respond and got staff to help transport all our things to the other side of the building to an upgraded room where resembled a small 1 bedroom apartment within minutes of the initial report, so bravo to the reception staff as they handled themselves very well. unfortunately although the room itself was much better, there was still issues with this room too. they had us in room 2002 our new view was now a wall to which in the morning you can hear the workers having their breaks and sometimes dropping large metal platters etc - again going that step further would be to recognise that you want to show all the best aspects of the hotel and provide the customer perhaps a much better room with better views. but anyways... we went to eat.... for further context we arrived on the 2nd my partners birthday is on the 4th, i was although im not fussy on food i was nervous to not get food poisoning or ill before the 4th at very least, so i thought it would be a safe idea being from the UK to go to the Hotel restaurant to eat. i ordered the chicken burger and fries, my partner ordered a cheese burger and fries..i can only say that god told me to open this bun up and i did to find what looks like a smashed chicken thigh they attempted to fry or grill. - it was pink inside and my partners beef burger was gray. we promptly sent the food back and i watched the chef put both burgers back on the grill for about 2/3 mins and our food returned, i looked again and no change, we just ate the chips, paid and left. - basically aside from chips dont order meat from the western menu...however someone besides us ordered spring rolls and some other thai dish and it looked and smelled good maybe dont go thailand looking for western food - we didnt return to the hotel restaurant, but also the manager of the restaurant wouldn't allow us to sit inside because of my partners 'lowcut top' although being pretty much a beach hotel. with the restaurant a stone throw from the beech, but we didnt argue because we understand that some countries and cultures are sensitive with modisty....long story short check your food. other issues with the rooms is the level of dusting, like i know thai peeps are quite tiny but im 6ft2 i can see the dust on top of the TV boxing and behind the sofa, and under the bed, and n top of the toilet. - so just clean it * in the new room we didn't not see any further wild life living with us which is good. in summary - ok location taxi into city is about 250bhat/£5.95 each way via bolt or 15 mins by driving or moped - hotel staff lovely and helpful and are very respectful - close to beach, great for sunbathing - caddy to take you to taxi pick up points or the beach or to the shops and back for free -24/7 security and reception - beautiful views from infinity pool and deck area floor 8 (roof top pool) even better if: - reception staff knows better layout of their hotel, as really you want to put your current guests in the best rooms with great views as well as amenities remember although there is internet the best marketing is word of mouth, if you are reading this and you was placed in room 2002 and you were to describe the view- what can you really say about it? other than oh there's a mouldy wall.... - spend the extra money and find a hotel in pattaya city of main Jomtien, this hotel needs further work with training of staff, hotel amenities such as get rid of the western menu and just serve thai food! add a bar area to the very empty green area on the pool deck potentially do some food there too- its the best point of the hotel use it! add some lights to the bridge that separates the beach and hotel - maybe the hotel should also look to invest the beach clubs at the front of the hotel make some events, do some music maybe move night, performances, of just a chill spot with some lights. any further of my help and id have to charge you. but your hotel is letting your staff down, take sometime to work on the refinement of the hotel. i wouldn't return to this hotel unfortunately, unless Bayphere could make some changes and invites us both back, but from what i have seen hotels a bit meh a bit tired. and it really needs to fix up because there other hotels that are much nicer that we had visited in our stay. Bayphere needs to note that a lot of people also book their next holiday whilst still on on holiday and we dont not rebook here at all. if you're looking for somewhere decent and close to the beach, fairly close to ameniteies and have the funds for taxi of transport and you're not eating or staying at the hotel other than to sleep the thsi hotel is fine, if you're looking for relaxing retreat then spend the money look elsewhere Bayphere aint it right now. to the Bayphere team, it would be nice to see that you have made actual changes rather than cat GPT responses that i have seen because someone else said the food nearly killed them and theres clearly been no changes. - trust me, get rid of the burgers and just serve thai food, make changes to the roof top area, make the rooms seem more lux, your hotel has to stand out because the area is still developing, you idealy want to do the works now otherwise newer hotels will spring making this one obsolete love Kc- ps i have no images to post of the room because our view was a wall. its worsened when i know someother peoples view was a beach and seaview. sad for such a special occasion- luckily the beautiful country itself and my birthday itenerary kept me from being in the hot water with my partner.

Rooftop pool, closeness of the beach, clean rooms, calm area, good bed, nice bathroom

The "slow" times for breakfast was too crowded, reception staff promised a birthday cake but never gave it, they also don't speak English well, cleaners always had to be asked to clean the room or they didn't. No cutleries in kitchen, they charge extra for them.
