Stayed here for 1 night. Quick check in. Great gym to workout. Fast internet. Coffee in the lobby in the morning. they have a very good bar in the lobby. Great area and locale. Uber pick up is very quick. Good quality of sleep. I stayed in room 301 - it was a two room suite. huge for my needs and very comfortable.

Price was not what expedia gave me.

Our first experience with an AC Hotel. Beautiful new facility in a vast planned development on the north side of Metro Jackson. We had a "queen suite" with couch. Nice room size. Laminate floors and smooth-surfaced furniture for easy cleaning. Room clean for the most part, but there was an unwiped coffee spill visible on the side of the desk area. Great concept with a few quirks: (1) they still have those useless CVT "pod" coffee makers, so you can't make a decent cup of coffee in your room. Is this just a Marriott thing, vs the other hotel brands that almost all have have a Keurig? (2) Bathroom door is a sliding frosted glass...when the bathroom light is on, it spills into the rest of the room, and even though frosted, that glass might be a privacy issue for some. (3) At this price point, some sort of free breakfast other than the $14.95 buffet should be offered. Thankfully there's a dispenser of some good Starbucks coffee set up on the bar, albeit with those tiny containers of fake cream, rather than any real half and half or milk. All considered, though, there's plenty positive to be said about this hotel too. It does have a very nice bar/bistro area with a good drink and "bistro food" selections. There's an extensive patio seating area with a long narrow firepit, lots of good parking in a safe area. Would consider returning if we were in the area.

Hotel was a nice establishment. I would definitely stay here again. It was clean, updated (seems to be newly built), and friendly staff. There was a bar downstairs. There was a nice gym with art pieces and even complimentary headphones. They also had bottled refrigerated water. Such a nice touch for a gym (plus it’s 24 hours). The overall area outside of the hotel seems nice and safe. I actually went walking the first night and felt safe. There is also a firepit outside that was a big hit for me. It was very long and rectangle in shape. Almost like a table top firepit. Many people could gather around it. I sat under it the second night and truly enjoyed it. I also like the corners and door entrance on bathroom because it’s like a mirror. Nice touch. I only have a few dislikes. There was a spot on one corner of the wall in the room. Our windows were dirty. When I opened the curtains, I noticed that first thing. The rooms have no microwaves. That wasn’t a biggie for me, but my husband wanted one. However, you can go downstairs and use one. There were no bags in garbage cans. I would also recommend more lighting in bathroom. There are two shower heads. One comes directly from ceiling. It is nice, but not short-people friendly…because I couldn’t reach it. But overall those minor things did not deter me. I will definitely be back again. It’s not a lot of nice places to stay in Mississippi. But this is definitely one.
