White Shell Beach Villas

Es ist alles super neu und sehr geräumig!

We arrived late in the evening, 9.30 pm, and had a warm welcome. Luckily the kitchen was still open and we were able to have a very tasty dinner. Our apartment was spacious, light and airy, with everything you could want for a very comfortable stay! Even a basket on wheels to take to the beautiful pool area, or down to the nearby (7 minutes walk) lovely sandy beach, beach towels are provided, you can borrow a sun shade at reception for the beach. There were several seating areas outside the apartment, depending on whether you wanted shade or sun. There were plenty of lovely restaurants in easy walking distance, delicious, reasonably priced food. One of our favourites was Taska26, but you need to book, as it's very popular! We borrowed the free electric bikes twice, cycled to the Porches Pottery, well worth a trip and another day to the next resort, Armacao de Pera. This had a lovely promenade and boardwalk over the dunes. We also went on a boat trip along the stunning coastline, visiting the caves. We travelled to Albufeira for the trip, but you can get a small boat from the local beach, this boat is smaller, so you can actually get into the caves. We had a really great stay and can thoroughly recommend this resort.

The bed was rather firm, but we could have asked for a topper. There is no public transport, we were there for a week luckily we enjoy walking and cycling, but a car would of been useful to explore further.

Ein Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse wäre hilfreich gewesen.

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment, friendly staff, beautiful area. Gets a bit dark in the evening walking about the resort. Just as we left though, there were workmen putting in additional lighting so this should be much better in the future. Overall, we're very pleased we booked here
