Sandy Toes Accommodation

Too be honest we felt duped. This should have been advertised as ‘cabin at the bottom of a garden with a walk on really noisy pebbles, through a gate, past another cabin to finally arrive at your bathroom’. No running water in the cabin and it is sneakily advertised as ‘private bathroom’ without explaining that it’s nowhere near the cabin. The fact that it is non-refundable after booking takes the p… and is there to catch people out. The cabin itself is spacious, clean and warm, but who wants to go out in the night to go to the toilet. If we wanted that we’d have camped, and saved a lot of money.

Cozy accommodation with a rich sense of style.

The bathroom was situated in the next yard, but regardless of the short trip - it was extremely clean and cozy.

Very close to grocery stores, within walking distance to train station and bus stop and local beach. Quiet neighborhood yet lively during daytime. It’s a great hub to other Cornwall destinations 😍

Walking from the entrance/bathroom to our room. Maybe walking path/stone steps can be installed, instead of walking on pebbles & gravels. A bit difficult to drag our luggage with such surface

The property was lovely, easy to find, easy to gain access to, and Carla was great and sent us the check in details before we arrived. The room itself was amazing, quirky and perfect for a two night stay, the tea station and fridge were lifesavers! The outside seating was a lovely touch, and was a great place to sit with a cuppa after a long day exploring. The bathroom was the perfect size, with an amazing shower pressure and great quality towels. The free WI-FI was great and TV was a smart TV, so was brilliant for us, as you could sign into your own streaming services and watch what you would at home. The best part of the whole stay for us was definitely the bed, it was insanely comfortable, like sleeping on a huge fluffy cloud, you just sank right into it, and the bed linen was great quality, we almost didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be returning in the future, Carla’s hospitality is unmatched! 🫶🏻

The only thing I didn’t like was the annoyingly noisy gravel, it would be perfect if there was a little ‘crazy paving’ sort of path running through the gravel to the cabin & bathroom.
