Uma Tirtha Ubud By Island Escape

They need to provide a spare key at the outset. They lent me one but took it back the next day without my knowledge. Fortunately they gave it back to me in time for us to go out. Air con also leaking water. They sent someone to check but it remained leaky.

I had the most amazing stay at Uma Tirtha. The staff were honestly incredible, Ketut was super attentive and kind. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, super clean and peaceful, with everything you could possibly need, the location was great being close enough to everything but still tucked away enough to be relaxing and quiet. Mango cafe just outside the villa was amazing again with great staff. One of the highlights was the Monkeys that would come right up to us, such a cool and unique experience. I couldn’t recommend this place more, I’d definitely stay again

Location was excellent, 10 min from Ubud center by car. Staff was good and attentive.

Parking was terrible. The entrance ramp for cars was made of loose stones and mud instead of proper cement, and our car got stuck trying to go up. The driveway was extremely narrow, surrounded by slum-like areas and construction trucks, with no space to maneuver. Overall, a very bad experience just arriving. The room itself wasn’t clean — there was dirt in the shower — and at night, wild animals got into the bathroom. It turned out to be a large gecko (about 50 cm long), but it’s definitely not pleasant to step into the shower and be surprised by something like that.
