Quaint, Comfy, Close & Convenient

Had a great experience with this property but wished that all bedrooms had televisions.

House was wonderful. We did have a small electrical issue on check in but it was fixed almost immediately. Would recommend this house to anyone who is staying in the area!! Thanks for everything

Older home in a very quiet neighborhood. Michael was a great host, and was easy to communicate with as needed. We overall enjoyed his property and it did suit my families needs while we were in the area visiting family and vacationing. Home is very central to Charleston, the State Capital, and other attractions such as the New River Gorge, And Hawks Nest. Pro’s for me; Location, cleanliness, back deck, ease of access, communication, and check in. Con’s for me; Couple of the beds were extremely firm, minor ant issue in the living room (non-biting/stinging type), and there was a bad light fixture in one of the bedrooms hanging from the wires in the ceiling ( Host did point this out as a known issue upon our check in and apologized) it was made safe but my guess is the breaker was turned off to do so and that also made the other ceiling fixtures in the hall and front bedroom non functional. Other info for the next renters; This is an older home, there is no sneaking around after dark, the floors are squeaky, but solid. The home is dated, but is very well kept. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a Quaint, Comfy, Close, and Convenient place in the Charleston area. Thank you Michael!! We appreciate your hospitality!!

Quaint cute house in nice quiet neighborhood. Ample parking for our two vehicles. Nicely decorated and nice clean bathrooms! Easy communication with property manager.

Property was well kept, it was clean, and spacious. The location was less than 10 miles to local shopping and restaurants. Not so good The drive way was only big enough for one car if you had more than one car you would have to park in the front of the house and that could be dangerous because the road are real narrow.

Very cute house. Upstairs remodeled very well. We really enjoyed the deck. The house is on a busy street with no sidewalk but near many parks for walking.

Super cottage on the hill in quiet neighborhood overlooking the lights of downtown. Property was clean and well maintained. It is a lot larger than it looks and could comfortably sleep 6 nicely with no issues. Hills getting to the property provided a nice daily workout. Overall a great experience.

Mike was great and very responsive. The property was just as described and worked out great for my friends and I. Quick access to the city was nice. And close to the grocery store. Parking was a little tight, but we had room for all 4 cars. Nice little place for our Galentines's wknd

Clean, nice, loved the upstairs had its own private ensuite, had some nice amenities. Back deck light didnt work, wldve been nice if upstairs bathroom either had blinds or curtains for the windows. Randome thing I noticed, kitchen had 3 sets of handles for the cabinets.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay at the property. The house is well-maintained and has very good location (close to Charleston downtown as well as to highways leading to state/national parks). The only limitation for those who are planning to cook at home is lack of necessary dishes: absence of small/median size plates and saucers.
