O ambiente acolhedor, assim que se entra no hall do hotel, é o que mais impressiona. Fugindo à típica receção hoteleira, ao entrarmos no bar, com excelente bom ambiente e muito bem decorado, fomos recebidos pelo Luís Patrick (Patrício) que gentilmente nos deu indicações acerca das instalações do hotel, mas também acerca da cidade. Os quartos são lindos, espaçosos e revelam um extremo bom gosto na decoração. Os terraços exteriores com arcos em jasmim perfumado são maravilhosos. O pequeno-almoço foi ótimo. E, por fim, saliento, de novo, a simpatia do Luís que nos fez a todos ficar com vontade de conhecer a cidade de Lugo e regressar a esta casa com conforto e luxo de hotel, que é o Mercure Lugo Centro.
