Best Western Plus Lakeland

The hotel and room are quite new. According to an employee it is 4 years old. It is clean, new , quiet, we are impressed by free breakfast. The breakfast has so many options, coffee, juice, bread, fresh pancake, scramble egg, sausage patties and links, cereal, etc. We will use it again next time

I would give the breakfast a 6 out of 10 for taste and a 10 out of 10 for variety plus a 10 of 10 for attendant and cleanliness. A pool would have topped of the stay.

Very clean and nice hotel

Had a one nights stay that was exceptional. After we returned home my wife discovered a charge for $250 on our account that was extra. I contacted the hotel and was told I was charged a incidental fee. First person told me it's because some had smoked in the room. So I asked to speak to the hotel manager. He in only on property a few hours a day. So I called back then next day. The next employee told me that there was damage in the room. So I did the same thing and asked for the manager. He was in a meeting and would call me back. Yet again no call back. On the third time I got the assistant manager. She informed that the mattress was sliced open with a knife and a chair was destroyed. So once again. Same routine left a message. I did receive a call back form her and she did put the manager on the phone. I was informed that the TV has a scratch on it and he had to personally replace the TV. It's funny we did do anything we had been accused of doing. He told me that he would look at the cameras and do some investigating and call me back. So after more calls for month now. Still have not received a call back. Now I have taken the next steps and contacted my bank, best western corporate, better business bureau , and booking.com. Worst part is if you look up other reviews for this hotel.Other people have had this issue. Please be very leery about staying in this hotel. The hotel was absolutely amazing period but the management will try and steal from you
