Fairfield by Marriott Gifu Takayama Shirakawa Go

Très bel hôtel, récent, bien décoré, avec des parties communes très agréables (café et thé gratuits, canapés..). Parking gratuit sur place. Chambre de belle taille, literie très confortable. Des recommandations de restaurants par le personnel d'accueil, nous n'avons pas été déçus.

Le système pour la machine à laver n'est pas pratique (application non traduite en anglais), c'est le seul endroit de notre séjour au Japon où nous avons rencontré ces difficultés. Dommage pour un établissement de ce niveau.

The staff are friendly & helpful and provided a baby cot for our 12-month-year-old as a last-minute request. The location is on a major highway and easily accessible when coming/going to the Shirakawa-go area. The rooms are comfortable & quiet. There is a laundry room and a lounge area with a microwave and coffee facilities.

There is basic packaged food available on site. There are a couple of restaurants beside the roadside station (across the road) and a great sushi restaurant was open until 8pm. For breakfast, there is one local cafe that opens at 8am and has one choice for breakfast; the roadside station shop opens at 9am in winter and has a limited selection of food that is ready to eat.
