Good location and view

Unfortunate stuff up through booking.com where the incorrect dates were booked. I also took great care to book a 2 bed but was assigned a 1 bed. Upon arriving the screw up became apparent and we had no choice but to rebook. As explained by booking.com, they could not refund but ika nui could if they chose to. It would have been a simple matter of crediting the booking to the new dates. They refused. So a dated, basic room ended up costing $1100 for two nights. Disappointed in Ika Nui is an understatement.

Great location very close to the Lake and town. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean unit and comfortable bed.

Disappointing, virtually non existent wifi despite advertising free wifi on website. Dark and sunless unit. Questions: Why were Police visiting some guests? Is this motel being used for temporary housing?
