Wuthering Cottage - Central, Stylish, Cosy, Comfy

We came to Haworth to visit The Bronte Parsonage and village. We were thrilled to find Wuthering Cottage at such close proximity to everything we wanted to experience.The cottage itself was beautiful... clean, cosy and beautifully furnished and decorated. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Staying at Wuthering Cottage truly enhanced our wonderful experience of Haworth.A

The location was good and close to takeaways, shops and the centre if able to walk uphill.

Unfortunately, staff were passive-aggressive throughout the stay. If staying at Wuthering cottage would highly recommend taking photo's of everything on arrival and reporting anything that appears damaged/faulty right away to booking.com to prevent any accusations, saving mass amounts of stress. One bed was already damaged and unusable. Would advise to check and report things like this. Need to be a competent driver as parking inconvenient and difficult with the other cars and the road. A small amount of toilet paper, kitchen roll provided in relation to the number of guests, so I had to purchase these. Unfortunately, it didn't meet expectations despite the good location and beautiful village of Haworth.

It's a very tasteful, pretty and authentic kind of place. Spacious rooms especially the kitchen and front bedroom. It was really warm. The soft furnishings , towels, bedding etc were really lovely soft quality

We have a big car so parking so we didnt try parking between the two neighbours, we just we parked on the road which was fine really just up a steep road in terms of if carrying anything but easy to drive down to pick things up, all manageable really. Some repairs needed - positive news it was sorted by the owner as soon as she could, but one bed had wobbly legs and we had no working washing machine or dishwasher until day 3 of our stay, (as we had been staying in a different place before then, had counted on being able to wash clothes on arrival to have enough for our trip) . I think it must just have been bad luck on our part and the owner tried really hard to get to get them fixed , it was just a little late in our stay for us to get the benefits of them

Pretty place to stay and great position for visiting Haworth and the train station.

I wasn’t very confident with my booking having the amount of beds I needed - Booking.com search was for 4 adults 1 child but only a double and a set of twin beds at the property and it wasn’t clear if I needed to ask for an extra bed ? My son slept on the sofa which was luckily very comfortable .

The location was next to some nice bars and takeaways and was very quiet. It was very close to the train station where we had a lovely steam train ride.

The parking spot outside the house was too tight for our car but there was a car park literally opposite charging just £2 per day
