I liked absolutely everything. And it's not even about the room and other things. The hotel staff are wonderful people. I will definitely come back here again.

There was no such thing

The view is unmatched and it’s right on the black sand beach. The bed is comfortable, it’s very clean, and the shower is powerful and huge! The restaurant next door serves your breakfast. You get a huge breakfast with lots of options, made to order for free. The restaurant is Instagram worthy and the staff is really nice. There are a lot of cute shops and restaurants but when I was there, in the off season, there were only two markets and three restaurants open. (That I found within walking distance).

The tour bus brings people to the beach and they walk up onto your room’s patio, use your chairs, peek in the window etc. It’s off season so I assume if people are outside and its busier, tour guests wouldn’t approach; but it may be helpful for a sign to be placed by each patio. The water temp in the shower -beware! . It takes about 6-7 minutes to get to the right temp. So, let it run at least 6 minutes before you get in it or you could scald yourself. Once I checked in (late check in so staff met me) There were no staff at the front desk the entire 4.5 days I was there. I had a handful of questions and an issue with my patio door not locking and I emailed them eventually but I never got a response. The cleaning lady was very nice but when I asked about staff presence, she couldn’t help as she only speaks Greek. Rm. 105- the lock on the patio door doesn’t work, the bedside lamp doesn’t work and neither does the 2nd light in the shower.

The hotel room was fabulous with a stunning view of the beach. I appreciate the receptionist’s assistance with our questions and car rental. The room layout was perfect in giving privacy to parents and kids. The restaurant is awful. The food is bland and the service was the worst, in fact rude. I was told that I ordered too much for my breakfast, which was included in my stay, and the chef was cutting me off and refusing to serve me anything else (I had simply asked for an extra yogurt). It made our third morning at breakfast awkward and unpleasant. The location is well placed near markets and the boardwalk, with a short enough drive to Oia, Thira, the ruins, Red Beach, etc. Highly recommend to go in the on season (not the off season because it’s dead in the off season). Note that the government charges an extra 15 euros per night during the on season.

Not sure how this is legal but these little bungalows of the hotel were built right in the send on the beach itself. We watched the sea from the bed and could go right in for a dip. The location was absolutely perfect for what I wanted, a bit isolated on one side, but close to the restaurants lining the beach on the other side. The restaurant where we had breakfast had a lovely location right on the beach, but the food itself was disappointing, the food was nothing special.

Receptionist, Christina was exceptional. Excellent communication, customer service, and welcoming skills. She make my stay exceptional.

I can only say thank you, the best hotel to stay on Perissa beach and enjoy the beach 100%, it is really amazing, the food and breakfast in the restaurant even better, but what I loved most was the wonderful attention of the staff. The hotel receptionist is incredible, she welcomes you with open arms, she is incredibly friendly and attentive. We will definitely return 100/10.
