Gasthaus zur Linde

Everything! This is one of the best family hotels we have ever been! Clean and spacious room, tasty homemade food and kindly hostess.

Perfect clean and modern, big room and bathroom. Breakfest very tasty, good Wifi. Hosts are very kind and friendly:)

We arrived quite late and the late check in was not a problem at all. We chose this place as we were travelling from Nuremberg to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a famous medieval wonderful town only 20min far away by car. The place has a restaurant as well but due to the late arrival time we couldn't try it. We were offered a crib for our 1-year old child and the staff helped us bringing it to the room and assembling it in a few minutes. The staff was all very nice. The room was very spacious, modern, and very clean. The bed was large and comfortable. Also the bathroom was large and equipped with a nice large shower. Free parking available on site. We were given option to prepare some tea free of charge; we didn't take the breakfast to spare some time and money, however, from its looks it was promising. In the kitchen there there was a microwave available for the guests.

You definitely need a car to move around here. The wifi connection had a strong signal in the room but the internet was slow and the connection was bad. In the morning, the light came in the room despite the shades. The night light on the side of the bed is too strong, not possible to use it without disturbing the other person who might want to sleep. A bit of struggle with communication on site due to our limited German and the staff limited English, nothing we weren't able to overcome together. :)

Nice quiet location in the small village. Appartment was clean, big and very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a restaurant in the Gasthaus. Parking is in front of the building for free. You can buy breakfast for 7eur per person after check in.

The menu in the restaurant includes too many fried meals. Kid´s menu was only fried. I would welcome at least one meal for kids not fried - like spagetti ;-)

Convinient location, near autobahn. Clean room, tasty breakfast and top service (when we arrived, restaurant was about to close, but they allowed us to make last order, it was really nice).

Modern and very clean. Staff was very friendly. The food was very good. The bed was new and comfortable.

Big clean rooms. Close to motorway but far enough not to hear traffic. Very kind owner.
