2 Bedroom Central Apartment With Parking

This was booked last minute after our original booking let us down. The host Adam, was very responsive considering it was late at night when we booked and I had questions over the weekend. The check in was easy. Keys are collected from a local convenience store which was great for a late night arrival as they are open until 2am. We were also provided with a video of how to check in and park. It was great the property came with underground secure parking included. The location was great. Close to trains stations and all the sights for walking. The flat had everything you needed for self catering.

The only issue was the lifts were broken. This was not too much of a problem for us but would be for people with limited mobility as the property is on the 9th floor.

Nothing. Stay at this place at your peril. We could not get to the apartment as it was on the 9th floor, the lift was broken and the stairs were in complete darkness, not even any emergency lighting (which is illegal). This is after we had to pick up the keys at a corner street kiosk rather than meet the owner of the apartments. We arrived by car into a basement car park which was vermin attractive littered with rubbish and discarded food. The place was filthy. How we were expected to get up to the 9th floor in a pitch dark stairwell with 3 suitcases and a child is beyond us. We took it up with the owner who said he would refund but later didn’t and logged us as a ‘no show’. What a liar. Luckily we took photos of everything so we will be taking the matter further.

All of the above. The property shouldn’t even be listed as it is illegal not to have lights in the stairwell. We reported this to Booking.com but they seemed disinterested and wouldn’t give a refund even though it was unsafe to use the stairs and therefore we could not gain access to the apartment itself.

The apartment was very pleasant and spotlessly clean, however it has a washing machine in the living room. The building the apartment is in is in a poor state of repair and is filthy (not the apartment itself), especially the car park. Check in is a pain, the instructions from the property were very good but you have to collect the keys from a newsagent a couple of streets away where there is no parking. Nice apartment, just some other bits to consider.

The parking under the hotel an around the hotel was shabby with a lot of litter

Location was excellent for the restaurant we were given info to. Central location.

Nothing to dislike.

Location is amazing. Everything was at our doorstep!

Parking was a little tricky - tight turning so beware if you’re driving a big car!
