The blockout curtain when drawn did not cover the whole window letting light from outside lights in. Also we did not receive the two single beds offered when booking so my daughter and I had to share

We loved staying in the grounds of Curtin University. It was delightful to walk through the park like locations and see students conversing with each other. We felt safe and welcome. It was easy to get food. The bus station was most convenient for travel into the city. The balcony was used. Really nice to sit there, eat some food, have a glass of red and watch the day come to a close over the pine trees and playing fields. I am sure we will return. The staff were also very accommodating in letting us park our car there before the nominated 2:00pm check in time.

When I visited two months before, breakfast and parking was included for around $185 per night. This time neither the parking ($17 per day) nor the excellent breakfast ($25 per person) was included in the room price. I am assuming it was excellent because I did eat there on my first visit but not on the second. In May 2026 I paid $192 per night which included $17 per day for parking. If we had eaten breakfast that would increase it to $242 per night. By my calculation that is around a 30% increase in 2 months. I think my maths is correct :-)
