Given wrong key code upon arrival i had to contact to get the right one, no Hot water, Internet was not great had it sometimes other times it was not working, Out of my 3 days the first day i had to clean the dishes and pans as they still had food on them, urine left in the toilet when arrived and there was a smashed window covered with tape, I was more worried about safety. The latch on the back of the door doesn't close so you cant lock your door, I did stay local due to worrying if someone would enter or not The stairs up are quite hard if your coming with a bigger case metal fire emergency exit used for entrance to the property I was contacted on the second day to tell me i needed to pay an extra £45 for the child and £25 small emotional support dog 4kg as they seen a buggy on the camera but the buggy was the dogs it does state service animals exempt from fees. All a bit too stressful and I did go to relax so it wasnt the holiday i expected in the end

"Dirty and in state of disrepair "

2.0

I only booked this apartment, due to visiting my mother in a hospital, in Cambridgeshire to then be told she had covid., I live and work in Ashford kent but due to having Ia vulnerable member of the family , I needed to self isolate, so pick the grace apartment, as still close to home It was not as it per described. It was not clean and it is in a terrible state of disrepair. I want to cancel put contract stated no refund if cancelled after 14 days of the booked date. States100% will be taken. So I could not afford to book somewhere else as a 4 night/ day cost me over £240 The place was dirty, microwave and oven was dirty and I ate samdwichs and pit noodles during my stay and a Mcdonalds Due to the state of the cooking equipment Apartment is in Ashford Town center Right across the road from a cocktail bar that shuts at 2am so the noise is terrible also beside the cocktail bar are food takeaways which have a lot of customers and deliver drivers, that sit in their cars with engines running and load conversions Please see photos of the disrepair and u cleaning apartment and cooking facilities I arrived on Friday early evening

Unfortunately I’m not allowed enough characters to give a thorough review of this place, but suffice it to say there is a reason it’s the cheapest in Ashford. Poor communication and not at all professional. I arrived in Ashford with no communication on how to enter the property, and upon calling the office was informed that the room I had booked was occupied. To their credit, the staff did upgrade me to a unit across the street after multiple calls, but you really have to question their professionalism. The unit I was moved to was accessed through a dark parking bay that could barely fit a small car, and there was indeed a small car blocking most of the bay for the duration of my stay. The unit is through a courtyard and a front door which you never really can tell if it is locked or not. The door to the actual unit is hanging on by a thread and it looks as if someone tried to break it down at some point: even when locked it is very loose. I was contacted asking if maintenance could look at the door while I was there, so maybe they were fixing that, but as I wasn’t in, maintenance couldn’t access the unit, so I have no idea if they were going to address that issue or not. The unit itself is clean in the sense of someone who just kind of half-heartedly runs a hoover over the carpets and a damp rag over the kitchen. The shower has good pressure and is warm, but the shower head desperately needs cleaning/replacing. Seriously, shower heads are cheap, put some effort in.

"Great host"

8.0

I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was lovely & the washing machine was handy. The area was very noisy though as it is right in town above a bar & I was there at the weekend. Every amenity you could need is on your doorstep, shops, bars, places to eat & a gym on your doorstep. Parking is a downside as its only from 4.30pm-8.30am on this occasion it wasn’t a problem as I had a course all 3 days so had to go somewhere else anyway. I did have a problem with the heating on the last night & it was freezing but my host did drive over very late to fix it as it was a bitter cold night.
