Solano Hotel

The staff are courteous and very friendly. Breakfast is very good too. I have a wonderful experience and will surely stay again at Solano Hotel if I am in Lipa.

Location is perfect and very comfortable.

Stayed here From April 10 to the 22 to be close to family. Hotel very clean,staff very friendly and courteous. Buffet breakfast was VG included and the food was good. Had dinner with family and friends few nights in the kubo. Food came in hot and delicious. They have a bar that serves a great run and coke beer among others. We tried the Cafe Ysab as well and it was good. Ròof deck is a must see for the 360 view of the city and the mountains. WiFi is good. Great place to stay when in Lipa. Hope to return again in the future.

Ads photos has minibar but arrived in the room empty. So I had to go out get some snacks as there were nothing in there and I have a 5 year old who constantly likes to snack. There was a function in the evening on their bar and grill amd apparently cannot accommodate guests who are not participating in the event. I was like, how would you then accomodate the guest that wouldn’t want to participate in the event? They have to cater for their clients’ preferences because some just like to unwind by having a few drinks at the bar, eat, and go back to their rooms. So later on, after staff had spoken with the manager, they are going to accomodate us at the bar and will have to pull one staff from the event for us. I was like, really now? We didn’t want anyone to be a personal butler coz we are more than capable of placing orders ourselves. Frustrated by both minibar and rooftop bar situations, we had to leave 2hrs after checking in as there was nothing for us to do in there but really just to lie down and watch tv, hungry, during our stay. It was a major let down coz they cannot cater for clients’ individual preferences for their stay.

This was a very classy an beautiful hotel. My room was super nice. I'm from the United states an i loved my stay here. Its a little pricey but well worth it.

The place was clean and modern looking enough. The room and resto was in the 3rd floor. You'd have to go through furniture and appliance stores in the ground floor hall, but it was ok. They had limited parking, just in front of the building and a few on the side to my knowledge. Relatively good accommodations.

No cable or TV channels, but you can cast on their smart TV.
