"The cottage is perfect, the service, not so much."

The location is perfect

I did not like the fact that they are inflexible when it comes to changes. Requested a postponement, it was declined. Upon arrival, on this day when they had insisted I should stick to, the cottage had not been cleaned after the previous user had checked out. This happens on the hottest day in Cape Town when I needed to get in and take a shower.

"Don't bother unless you want to waste time and R1500 breakage deposit"

Beautiful garden flat with lovely view

Host agency managing this property is tedious. I understand the need for breakage deposit but a full nights accomodation seems ridiculous! I would not have booked if I was aware of the process involved and the deposit. There is plenty of options in the same price range with equivalent value for less bother.

Loved the outside area, it was a great space and was very clean, tidy and organised when we arrived

The kitchen tools were quite limited and toaster tripped the electricity. We had some issues with the wifi and electricity but the team quickly helped us resolved those issues
