St Julians View - 1 Bedroom Apartment - Tenby

Lovely apartment in a perfect location. It was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. Fantastic view of the beach from the terrace. Complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated thank you. Had a lovely stay.

The owner communicated well before we arrived and we then communicated with the agency and they were also easy to reach. The patio has a brilliant view, and the apartment is peaceful. The shower has excellent pressure and nice bath towels were supplied too. There are plenty of dishtowels and kitchen stuff. Lots of channels to watch on the TV such as Netflix (there is a guest account), BBC iPlayer and many more. The bed is very comfortable and many nice touches and extras around the apartment. Everyone we met in Tenby was super friendly, and its a lovely town. We would stay here again.

Although the kitchen is very well stocked with lots of utensils etc, unfortunately, the pots were the black lined ones (unfortunately very common in holiday lets), which are very toxic once scratched even a tiny bit. Having checked with the owner before we left home, which type of pots and pans were in the apartment, we chose to bring our own stainless steel ones. The worst thing for us was the Economy Seven storage heaters, as unlike more modern central heating systems, storage heaters churn out a lot of heat during the night - even being too hot to even touch - while in the evening, the heat is minimal. Fortunately, there was a plug in heater which we were able to use during the evenings. And we were glad it was not too windy or wet at night, as we were able to sleep with both the bedroom skylight windows open to allow the heat to escape. I'm not sure if this would be possible if there was a strong wind as it might whip the skylight windows too far open, which wouldn't be good if it was raining. It's an attic apartment, so there are a lot of stairs, but this did not bother us much. Parking is impossible outside or even near the apartment—although you can park and unload—but there is a multi-story carpark about a 10-minute walk away. It is free during the weekends and not too expensive for each 24-hour period.

Wasn't expecting to have to strip the bed and bag all the linen, towels etc. The property was not upfront about taking all rubbish home with us. Signs and emails reminding us not to climb the walls, not to feed birds, not to press the black button on the remote, do the dishes etc. spoilt the overall impression of a lovely apartment

The location was perfect, the apartment was very homely and very welcoming. The views were spectacular!!

Location and views were outstanding. The apartment was very well equipped.

The hot water was wonderful for 2 showers a day but there wasn't enough for an additional bath in a day.
