Room was clean.

Was expecting it be a hotel as per the description but was not a hotel. Location was also a bit remote. No restaurant on the property. Not child friendly.

Comfort and privacy, very nearby to all tourist spots. The owner is very helpful and goes way beyond to tend to their customers, felt comfortable and safe. The early morning breakfast was homely and tasty, especially multiple options to choose from.

The washroom facilities can be better, we ran out of toilet roll during the stay and it wasn’t replaced, which is a very small issue.

The breakfast was very average. The price for the room was high. The treatment by staff Mr Prasad was obnoxious. Im a seving defence officer, however the treatment given to me by the Mr Prasad managing reception was unacceptably horrendous. The check out tine was at 1100 hrs and I have requested that I am out & will comecatc1130 hrs to which he accepted as check in tine for another guest is 1300hrs. When I reached atc1130 to the reception/room, the room was already occupied by someone else and my luggage was lying on the reception. I have left the key with him for housekeeping & room cleaning services and told him that room will be vacated immediately as soon as I reach at 1130 hrs, as check in time for the homestay isc1300 hrs, and I will surely reach by 1130 hrs, which I did. With complete disregard and disrespect, he packed my luggage haphazardly, which also included my wife's clothes also , jeopardising dignity of a Military officers wife , who is mandated to uphold the dignity of the motherland. When I told him all this he was completely disrespectful and started arguing in local language & started threatening me of dire consequences of beingva localite in front of my wife. My arrival timevat the homestay can be corroborated from CCTV Footages if installed, definitely it was not beyond 1130 hrs and how the next check in was accepted before 1300 hrs. After I got this treatment, hurting thevdignify of a serving Military officer, I told me I will not pay the left over amount till he apologise for his conduct,bto which he flately refused and threatened to launch a police complaint. I spoke to the owner also but she also did not have any shame and threatened me of police complaint , whereas I was the victim. In the meanwhile I also got a call from some Mr Immanuel from Treebo and he was also only insisting only for payment, with complete disregard for the dignity of a serving defence officer.

The treatment was extemely offensive for a normal human being, leave alone a defence officer. I told I will go to Police for this maltreatment tobwhich they said we r locals and Police will take our side only. We being armed forces feel out of place and out of home in an alien land as we serve away from home not knowing the loxal dialect. Especially in the southern state, Karnataka the problem is more aggravated as local gets very offensive despite a gentleman behavior from personnel from armed forces. It is extremely unpleasant experience and situation wherein the honour and dignity of armed forces personnel is getting tarnished by even personnel who don't have any standing in the society. We defence personnel who r trying to secure the dignity and honour of the nation are finding ourself naked and embarrased. I have immediately paid all the dues, because knowing very well that local police because of dialect and connections take the sides of localites. After paying the dues which I did at 1150 hrs, I got an assurance that I will be paid back some amont by the homestay as a penalty to them and they will render an appolgy also, however only for namesake an one line apology was texted to me and no money was remitted. But to be honest, the larger picture is not about money at all, and we r not greedy for such a small amount. Through ur online booking site and treebo our dignity was compromised, our life was put at threat and the our hard earned vacation which we earn out of our blood and sweat was completely spoiled. This is how a country treats their bravehearts. This act definitely discourages a Military personnel to endanger his life for the country. Request pls take corrective and coercive measues against the Ayukata homestay. We will also sensitise armed forces not to stay out side and try to stay in armed forces facility as far as possible to avoid embarrassment and danger to their life and dignity.

clean room and good breakfast with nice terrace it's overall good to stay

There was no water in the night and no reception when we called to the mentioned phone number they lifted and said wrong number even bed was not very comfortable.
