Villa Anemeli

Overall, my friends and I had a good stay at Villa Anemeli. However, there are a few things to keep in mind about the property. Firstly, the jacuzzi on the upper floor is not heated and stays cold, so unfortunately we didn’t end up using it. The villa is located in a safe area, but it’s currently surrounded by construction sites, so the view isn’t particularly scenic — expect to see mainly building works around. As for the interior of the villa, we noticed several issues: - The power outlets next to the bed upstairs (on the right side) weren’t working. - The window shutter in the upstairs bedroom didn’t work. - The bedroom door handle broke off completely in our hands. Accessing the upstairs bedroom is also quite difficult — the staircase is extremely steep and uncomfortable. We nearly fell a few times, and while we’re young and fit, I can imagine it being very dangerous or even impossible for older guests. Just picture getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and having to go down those stairs — you’re almost guaranteed to injure yourself. On the positive side, having a cleaner come every two days was genuinely helpful, and communication with Lila via WhatsApp was easy and smooth.

Villa Anemeli was in the perfect location for my little family. We rented a car and were able to explore much of the island within 5-25 min drive due to the location. Our host was communicative and prompt to respond. The villa was clean and nicely decorated. The only thing I would advise for future travelers is the villa does have a loft on the top for the second bed and the stairs are quite steep. I didn't let me children (ages 6 and 9) go up there because it felt a bit dangerous to me. My husband and I slept in the top bed and the kids slept on the bottom so this wasn't an issue, but if you do have younger children this may be a concern. I had the same concern for the pool which is on the top and the stairs are again steep. However, the pool was cute and nice. My kids did go swimming there and it was perfect for them. I just had to supervise the walk up and down as the stairs were steep. We had a little trouble figuring out how to use the AC system here, but the manager actually came and helped us. That was really nice of them!

Villa Anemeli combines comfort, style, and convenience, making it one of the best places to stay in Santorini. I recommend it for holidays in Santorini.

We had a wonderful stay at Anemeli Villa. The villa is beautifully decorated, featuring two cozy bedrooms along with a comfortable living room and kitchen. The stunning Cycladic architecture adds to the charming atmosphere. The private jacuzzi was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Our host was incredibly polite and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Additionally, the free car parking was a significant advantage. We highly recommend Anemeli Villa for a memorable holiday on Santorini Island.

We just spent a fantastic time at Anemeli Villa in Vothonas. The blend of traditional Cycladic architecture and modern comforts was stunning. With a private Jacuzzi and spacious living areas, it’s the perfect retreat. Our host was warm and attentive, making our stay even better. I recommend Anemeli Villa for a charming getaway in Santorini—ideal for couples and families alike.

The apartment is very tastefully decorated. Bed is super comfy with mattress protectors (always good to see and implies professional/hygienic). The AC is super powerful. The shower is fantastic and we were supplied with plenty of towels. The TV in the living area is huge. Also TVs in bedrooms and well equipped kitchen (minus microwave but hardly an issue). The location is fine, 10 min walk from bus stops to Fira and Kamari, also a few shops and eateries. Lila arranged a transfer from Port (at a cost of 40 euro). We had a late flight home and arranged a late checkout at 6.30pm for an additional 80 euro.

We booked this 'villa' as the last four nights of a 2 week holiday, for it's jacuzzi, outdoor space and home comforts. However it was not a great property for lounging. The upstairs bedroom is accessed by a staircase of sorts; it's actually the top of staggered shelving. The rail was very light and wobbled. The terrace above is small and accessed by a very steep staircase with a single rail. The jacuzzi is lovely but cold, and due to construction nearby it was not a relaxing spot during day. The terrace at ground level is to the front of the property, a few meters from road.We ended up out of the property most of the time.

Anemeli Villa is a real Santorian Villa and is located in the charming village of Vothonas. The villa is beautiful, with two bedrooms, an unbelievable bathroom, and an exceptional private Jacuzzi. We loved the atmosphere of this Santorian Villa. The host was very helpful and the private parking was very important for our stay. We had everything we needed in this lovely villa. We will come back again definitely.
