The owners were so helpful and friendly and could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. The room was spotless, and the breakfasts superb. Cannot recommend enough.
At the upper end of my price range but worth every penny. Vicky and Wally could not have been more helpful (including lifts), the breakfasts were fabulous, and the house was Victorian elegant without being Edwardian fussy. Nice touches: provision of face flannels, shower mat, slippers and bathrobes; radio available on TV, white tablecloths and real cutlery!
Beautiful guesthouse with wonderfully welcoming owners. From the attention to detail with the decor and the personal touches in every spotlessly clean room, the huge luxuriously comfortable beds, the delicious freshly prepared breakfasts and the lovely relaxing atmosphere. There is ample parking and although Kingscroft is on a quiet road it is in easy walking distance to the local sights, restaurants and pubs, and the town centre. Would definitely stay here again.
