The David Kempinski Tel Aviv

The David Kempinski hotel in Tel Aviv is an exceptional hotel. Probably the best in Tel Aviv. We had a sea facing room, which affords you a room width, floor-to-ceiling sea view. The view was spectacular, especially watching the sun set. Our room gave us access to the Horizon lounge on the 22nd floor. The views are even better from there! Check-in and check-out for Horizon room types can be done in the lounge. The process was easy and smooth. The lounge itself is comfortable, with food and drinks throughout the day. All meals can also be consumed in the lounge, with a full buffet dinner available. The room was spacious and peaceful (apart from the planes on final landing approach). We could though hear the water flowing each time our neighbours flushed their toilet. Most of the traffic noise was shielded from the room. Sleep quality was good. Toiletries provided were high quality, together with the large plush towels and dressing-gowns. Breakfast was amongst the best I have had. However, the tables are narrow and placed very close together. I felt like I was in the conversation of the table next to us. I could heard every word very clearly. I did not expect that from this caliber of hotel! Why squash people together?! You also had to squeeze between tables to get through the room. All in all it was a very good experience and I would return

The breakfast was amazing, really delicious. The entire staff was exceptional, with Claudia in the Horizon Lounge particularly deserving of praise for her diligence and professionalism. And the location was perfect, right on the beach.

There was nothing that needed improving, in my opinion.
