Great little hotel in a fabulous location. Easy walking distance to bars, cafes, public transport (& Haight-Ashbury!) Art throughout the hotel and Lindt balls in the foyer :)

Stairs were challenging with luggage. No coffee in room (although there was a cafe next door)

Staff was always so nice

The air at my room felt pretty congested, old smell.

The location is fantastic. The linens are high end, the beds and pillows are excellent. There are no robes in the rooms and no coffee at the hotel, though there is an excellent coffee shop less than 50 feet away. The building itself is quirky and there isn’t always an outlet where you would like one. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Bring your own water and maybe a snack. The hotel is starkly without amenities and comforts. We left after one night.

Expensive, small room, no coffee

love the location, the outdoor patio, the hotel rooms, and the fact the the doors auto lock after a certain time at night. would stay anytime i’m back in san francisco

It is small

Location was great, staff was so attentive. I was able to open my window which overlooked the garden for extra airflow which was wonderful! Already booked to come back!

I could see some people feeling the room is a little tight, but this was fine because it was just me. Also could use some updating. Can also hear some noise in the hallways with doors opening/closing; thankfully I was at the end of the hall so it wasn't too bad.
