The Metro Hotel

We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff was super nice and helpful - they held on to our bags for us before check-in and after check-out while we explored the city. They even offered for us to keep anything we didn’t need but didn’t want to leave in the car overnight so we didn’t have to lug our big bags upstairs. Loved the decor and character in the lobby and room. The only thing that was a bit of bummer is website says you park on the street in the neighborhood but there are strict limits to this during the week so we ended up having to park in a pricey garage. Imagine this wouldn’t be an issue if you’re there over the weekend but would just keep that in mind if you’re visiting on a weekday. Overall though really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend!

Front desk woman was so kind and accomodating!

Kim, Derek and Elise on the front desk are all really friendly and helpful. They can give great advice on places to eat and places to visit. Well situated to get around San Francisco by bus and tram. Rooms are a little small but beautifully set out and decorated with little quaint touches.

The Metro Hotel is a colorful and vibrant boutique hotel in the Divisadero neighborhood. We truly enjoyed our stay here and felt safe on the property. The location is excellent and the restaurants in the area are very very good. The room itself was cozy and would be good for a short stay.
