I liked the peace and quiet. The cottage had everything i needed.

The accomodation was priced excellently. Due to the very good price, I went with low expectations for a weekend break. What we as a family discovered was a breath taking cottage, decorated to a high standard and with all amenities we could have needed.

There were no notable things to dislike during our stay.

It was in the perfect location for my dog and myself to access the agility show we were attending. All on one level. A perfect outside space to let the dog stretch her legs. Nice cozy cottage with everything I needed for 2 nights. I only met Phil and one of his dogs, had a general chat, mostly about dogs lol. I would definitely stay again if I needed to and if they'd have us. Nice and close to the A1 for access but far enough away for piece, quiet and listening to the birds sing.

It was freezing on arrival, the cooker was full off grease from previous occupants and hadn’t been cleaned, the main bed looked like it had been slept in and not been changed. We were told the cottage would be warm on our arrival which it wasn’t. I tried to contact the owner without success he totally ignored me. We had to cook in my son’s cottage for the whole stay because the owner just wasn’t interested.

Lovely Cosy Cottage. Had everything we needed. A 5 minute drive from bedale. Loved watching the birds out the window. Couldn’t fault it
