The room was very nice

Everything was good. Breakfast served is exceptional! Room is Google assistant enabled with Google mini. The slippers provided are really good.

Nil. The location is not the best, but that's not a problem.

Value for money

Furniture needs some update and thin walls makes it noisy plus our room was just beneath the swimming pool and had the drain motor just above our bed

It was a fairly good experience with Aston Inn Surabaya. The room was good enough with their facilities, and I really appreciated the water jug and dispenser to reduce the consumption of bottled water. Breakfast was pretty good, with a mostly Asian food selection, though there were pastries, bread, and eggs. Feedback: I can't have a breakfast as early as 6 am because I have to catch my flight before that, so I ordered an early takeaway box for my breakfast a night before in the reception, and the staff offered to let me take it in the reception at 5 am, which is good. Eventually, in the morning, at around 5.05 am, when I get to the reception, the staff says that there was a miscommunication that the takeaway was ready by 6.30 am. Because I can't wait until that time, I just leave the card for the check-out. I can understand that you can't have such an immediate change to the kitchen team, because they have work for food preparation as well. Hopefully, there will be better communication between departements on the next occasion. Cheers.
