"Clean and tidy, served its purpose for the night. Would return."

Location ideal for our event with our Grandchildren, breakfast was excellent.

Cobwebs around ceilings, top bunk had a lump in the middle of it, which was very hard to sleep on for our granddaughter.

"Übernachten wie in einem Pub am Hafen... schlicht aber wirklich gut!!"

Im ersten Augenblick waren wir ein wenig enttĂ€uscht. Das Zimmer war schlicht, aber alles drumherum hat es dann doch zu einem wirklich tollen Aufenthalt gemacht. Zum einen waren die Gastgeber toll! Ich habe ganz selten jemanden erlebt, der den Dienst am Gast wirklich so gelebt hat. Das war toll. (Vielen Dank nochmal fĂŒr das schöne Kaminfeuer!!!) Dann liegt das BnB direkt am Hafen, am Meer. Die Aussicht ist toll. Und der StrassenlĂ€rm nicht wirklich erwĂ€hnenswert. Der Ort ist schön und man kann direkt von der Unterkunft aus einfach im Ort herumlatschen und die AtmosphĂ€re geniessen. Pubs, Restaurants und alles was man so braucht ist um die Ecke. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war sehr lecker und wurde nach Wunsch unten im eigenen Bisto/Restaurant/Pub ganz frisch zubereitet. Ich fand mein KĂ€seomelette mega lecker!! Und den Kaffee ebenso. Wir sind uns einig, das wir das Narrows auf unseren Irland nicht missen möchten!!

Meckern kann man viel. Aber alles in allem war alles gut wie es war. Und ich denke unsere Bewertung sagt schon alles!!

We had a really lovely time in Portaferry. The Narrows are in a fantastic location, close to the aquarium and the Ferry. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Fantastic value for money. We will definitely visit again ❀

Our room had too many beds. There were bunk beds as well as twin beds for just the 2 of us. So it made our room seem very small.

Great location and lovely room with beautiful views over the Lough. The bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. Everything was spotless and well kept.
