Perfect location near the centre of Oakham.

The host was very informative. The property was very and tidy with a perfect location.

It is small but perfectly formed. The kitchen is well equipped. There is an ensuite to the master bedroom on the top floor which was great for my dad and his partner. My teenage daughter loved the other top floor double room as it had a dressing table and blackout velux blinds so she slept really well. I was in the bunk room which is very tight and the self closing door is difficult to negotiate. There is a lounge and a snug which had a TV and 2 armchairs. So I used that a lot. It's quick and easy to walk into town which is a lovely place.

There was a problem with the internet and we couldn't connect so there was no heating or hot water as this is a hive system. I managed to get the heating on and we didn't realise there was no hot water until we tried to shower the next morning. The parking spaces are really tight and the visitors space was taken up by another house and they were at an angle over the line the whole time we were there. So it's something to be aware of that the visitors spaces are used as a free for all.

This place was perfect for us with kids, place was spotless beds we so comfy and the kids had plenty of room to run around and play hide and seek. the owners had tea coffee and milk left there when we arrived it was great to have a cuppa. the washing machine was great to have with the kids. we were allowed to leave our bags there on day of departure until we were leaving this was great as we had an event to attend that morning. Over all great place and hopefully we will return to Oakham and defiantly stay there.The house is walking distance to everything.
