Welcoming family run well appointed hotel

Modern, tidy, renovated rooms inside quaint old-fashioned guest house. The owner (Stefan) was very nice and friendly. We loved the food in the restaurant. The breakfast was also delicious. The beds were soooo comfortable! Parking was easy, convenient, and free on the street right next to the property.

Breakfast was only served for one hour between 0830 and 0930. Not a big deal or complaint but starting earlier (0700) would have been better for our schedule.

The location was good for us. It was very clean and a full apartment. While we didn’t need that, it was nice that it was available.

I completely understand that we’re traveling in a foreign country and we should know to speak the language, except for we speak English only. Tried to communicate with the front desk clerk, and was somewhat scolded that we couldn’t communicate in German, but the woman was unwilling to utilize the translation to what we had. However, she quickly went and found a gentleman that spoke English and took care of us very well.

We really liked our stay & eating in the restaurant.

The WiFi wasn't working at all well in our room.
