Ael-Y-Bryn - Luxury Lodge, Hot Tub, Three En-Suite Bedrooms

The property inside was good. It was clean and well presented and it was lovely to have three en-suites

The property is advertised with hot tub, it’s quite expensive but we booked it as a nice treat and so it was a shock (and huge disappointment) to my children that when we arrived (the was an email the night before but I didn’t see that) we were told we would have to pay an additional £250 to use the hot tube. It felt completely unnecessary. If you scroll the description it is flagged but I didn’t notice that as the adverts second point in its promo on here is that it has a hot tub. We didn’t pay it out of principle and the fact it was then over priced.

Dishwasher didn’t work which was very frustrating and disappointing. Veranda needed a powerwash and good sweep as glass was all green in places and lots of grime on jointing of floor and around umbrella. I had to sweep before we could even use. The exterior of the lodge is also in need of a very good clean as absolutely covered in cobwebs.

The lodge was well kept and modern with good facilities including ensuite bathrooms and a well kitted out kitchen. Bedrooms are comfortable and practical.

A couple of the interior doors need a bit of attention to make them fit a bit better

The location was perfect for walks with the dog. The lodge had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely recommend.

The property was near Tenby on a quiet site. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed.

The patio area at the front needed washing down and sweeping. The table had cigarette butts all around the base and by the step and it had sticky drink stains all over it and a chewed dog toy left. The rail around it was sticky and dirty. Also the grass needed cutting around the lodge.

The location was lovely but it was difficult to get into Tenby as taxi services were very limited

The site was well maintained, quiet and within easy reach of Tenby. We received some complimentary items on our arrival which was very much appreciated.

There was a couple of minor issues which we reported but were promptly rectified.
