"You could write: Overall, the property did not meet our expectations due to its poor condition, lac"

2.0

So the owner's communication was really bad, he didn't even give me the property address and he didn't reply to my message asking for the caravan name or number

If this is for a review or complaint, here's a more natural and polite version: The living room was very poorly equipped. There was no dining table, side table, or other basic furniture. The furniture that was provided was very old, and the sofas and cushions had a strong unpleasant smell. I even stored the cushions in the cupboard, but the smell was still noticeable, and we had to keep the windows open most of the time. There were also no basic cleaning items such as a brush and dustpan. Most of the kitchen utensils and equipment were old and heavily marked from wear. In addition, there were no barbecue facilities, despite the outdoor space.

"A cheap break but the caravan was shocking"

3.0

Location was good and the site we wanted. The bed was surprisingly comfy. There was plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe and the air fryer was good.

The keys were already in the door as it was still being cleaned! Check in was 4pm and after driving for 7 hours couldn't get into the caravan until 5.30 once the cleaners had finished. The light switch to the bathroom was broken and tapped up. It was unsafe. The cleaner said she would get an electrician to fix it but no one came. The kitchen sink didn't drain water and I was advised by the cleaner who dropped me some drain unblocker off when I was unpacking. It remained unusable the whole stay and we had to use the bathroom sink to wash up. The patio chairs were threadbare and unsafe to sit on. The patio cushions had been left out in the rain with nowhere to store them so we had to dry everything out before use. No hand soap provided and the welcome basket consisted of 6 tea bags, 6 sugar sachets and 1 coffee sachet, and 4 mini uht milks. hardly a welcome basket as described. The gas cooker has to be lit with a lighter and the hobs and the oven have no functioning settings for heat. It's either on or off! There is only 1 pan plus a frying pan. hardly self catering equipt for 6. Not even enough cups. If it wasn't for past guests stealing Tennants beer glassware from the onsite pub there would only be 3 glasses. The caravan is near the trees and gets full of midgies at night. They even come through the vents in the caravan of which some are tapped up! Parking is also an issue at the caravan with neighbour caravan owners placing boulders on the grass preventing you driving your vehicle and making already tight access very difficult. The double duvet cover was torn and the edges. The sofas in the living room were hard and the table is too high for the seating. You feel like your sat on a child's chair stretching up to the table to eat. Also the owner states washing machine and tumble dryer however he fails to say launderette onsite not in the caravan.

Do not book this caravan – the listing AVOID – Photos are old, caravan is worn out, unsafe and terrible value photos are old and nothing like the actual condition. It’s very old (2008–2012) and has deteriorated severely. I have photos to prove everything here.

"Tired, dated and basic"

3.0

We liked the park itself - the swimming, the soft play, the play park and the scenery was lovely. The staff were friendly and we met some lovely neighbours. The weather was a bit miserable but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves

The caravan itself was dirty, smelled of damp and was freezing with only a small gas fire and one small convector heater in one bedroom The couch and table were covered with what looked like a flag and some small rugs - made the place look very old and tired - I get you have to keep the couch clean but the covers themselves were dirty. We had to wash all the cutlery and dishes before we could use them and as for the air fryer 🤢 it was absolutely disgusting The beds felt damp and the curtains in the bedrooms were wet with the condensation from the windows There was also a light switch that had been taped to the wall with insulation tape There was also old metal - ? BBQ or ? gate at the bottom of the stairs we had to climb over to get in, before we moved it The caravan was basic to say the least

"Stay was amazing being able to talk to host also helped loads with any anxieties."

Location was gorgeous full of wildlife and things to do. On site facilities like soft play was free which was huge bonus along with swimming other things. Host was amazing at staying in touch and helping with any queries.

Nothing we didn't like.
