This is my second time staying here, I stayed last year as well. The rooms, especially if you get the king bed are nice with big bathrooms, everything is clean. Lobby bathrooms weren’t giving the clean feel only seemed clean… if you know what I mean. This year, I wanted to celebrate my mother’s birthday and have them decorate the room, I said please do whatever you can, I am not sure as to what you can do but what have you done for previous guests. To make it short- they said of course they would be happy to and they will take care of it. They even said they would write happy birthday on a plate at breakfast— seeing as to how we had breakfast included and they have someone to station the eggs and crepes, it would have been super easy for them to accommodate small things like this. Which is why I thought we would be all good. I even reached out the day before and said that we are coming tomorrow and I want to make sure everything is all good- no reply. I had also said that I know check in is later than when we are going to be coming and my mom has some dietary restrictions so she would need to eat, is eating allowed in the lobby? and they said no but you are welcome to eat in the restaurant area. They didn’t accommodate that either.

We had many conversations, everything was all good, no one said to me they can’t decorate or you have to pay x amount etc. nothing was said. I would have said no worries. No one said you can’t eat anywhere in the hotel if you have your own food- in fact they said they could even reheat it for her. But no- this is not how this went. Instead, when I arrived, I reminded them again and the lady at the front desk was ridiculous and looked at me like I was crazy. To the point where the bellboy was called over and I told him and he communicated with her as she didn’t speak English and he told her I had been messaging people on booking.com and they had agreed. He also told her will will mention this all in the review, to that In a super condescending way she looked at him and was like “maafi” as in I couldn’t care less if she does or not. So that triggered me a lot. Like are you kidding you guys wasted so much of my time, reassured me, I am the one now that has arrived with my surprise etc all ruined, and I have a hypoglycemic person who needs to eat and you aren’t letting her eat her food anywhere— so what I am supposed to have my mom stand out in front of the hotel and eat her food??? I never even brought up reheating because clearly— I could see how things were going. The bellboy was like well, it’s not in the system that we need to do anything so it’s not the front desk girl’s fault either (Maha). I was like okay… but she is the one giving me all this attitude and I’m not an idiot that I couldn’t possibly catch her condescending tone and the “I don’t care at all” attitude. He then went silent because she was being rude right infront of him so he couldn’t refute that. Unbelievable and very obnoxious. The attitude on top of everything was unacceptable. It really ruined my trip and I’m so irritated about this. I called to get water so many times and no one ever came to give us water- to the point where I had to order it from HungerStation. I’m super disappointed.

Single bed was uncomfortable for me and also the switches beside beds were not proper and losed too
