Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort

We loved our family vacation at this Tulum Hilton resort!! Our building had a beautiful waterfront view, despite the pool in front of us being closed for construction. We were close to all the restaurants and a buffet. Our favorite restaurants were Italian and Mediterranean! A lot of people praised the Asian restaurant, but sushi were not of best quality. Perhaps we are spoiled coming from Boston area, but they could improve on portion sizes and presentation. We enjoyed the night entertainment, with every night they offered something different! They had neon face painting for kids and adults and then dancing for everyone. They also had acrobats and aerial gymnasts that gave a beautiful performance! Another night was dedicated to Disney themed show that our kids loved. The best part was their super friendly staff at the kids club. Our younger daughter especially enjoyed their activities there, including tie dye shirt they've made. Our 11 year old was a bit bored, but they tried their best. Her favorite was air hockey, ping pong and Xboxes but those were only open during family time. They also have a nice ice cream shop just around the corner! Pool time was great too, they had multiple games ongoing for both kids and adults. In addition, we managed to visit the Xcaret park, which was pretty nice, including the night show at the stadium (the highlight of our trip)!! Highly recommend it! A few things to improve would be at the front desk. It was really hard to understand some of the staff members during check-in. Providing brochures in English would have been better at that point. It took us some time to figure out that back of the bracelets had a QR code with all the needed event schedules and other useful info. Restaurants needed to be prebooked ahead of time but their concierge was only open until 5 pm. And we checked in much later than that. We learned later that by dialing 0 inside the hotel room we could make all the reservations. Again, knowing this ahead of time would have been better. Otherwise no complaints, great place, good food and drinks. We cannot wait to come back again!

It’s an all inclusive, as such I only expect the food to be adequate and not great. But this place had terrible food at every location. Some was inedible.

The hotel was new and nice plus it’s exclusive but the beach size is small and thin. The rooms were nice and they were amazing. I liked it

We stayed at the Hilton Tulum for 11 nights over the Christmas break. It was a lovely holiday - I mean we were in the sunshine, the beach area was gorgeous and the staff were mainly great. For me, I wouldn't count it as a luxury experience - the rooms were nice and a good size. Housekeeping was hit and miss, some days we got new towels and mini bar topped up, other days we didn't. When we arrived, the resort wasn't at full capacity and so we noticed a distinct fall in service and food quality once it got busier. When busy it was almost impossible to get restaurant reservations and generally big queues to get into the buffet and restaurants (despite there being lots of empty tables once in!). From someone who works in hospitality, they showed a real lack of management. Christmas eve we had to wait 45 mins to be seated for our reservation and the hostess in Auma put us off going back there again. La Luce felt like a canteen with lots of noisy children rather than 'elevated dining'. Terrible food also. Noriku was our definite favourite and the Lobby Bar was nice. Half way through the holiday, we became very bored of the food options. The pool areas were all very noisy - appreciate it was the holiday season so a lot of children and activities but if you are after a chilled time, this might not be for you!

Gustavo was calm, patient, and genuinely kind, and he helped us work through an issue at check-in when we really needed it. His willingness to listen and help took a stressful moment and turned it around for us. Christian was consistently friendly and approachable, took time to answer our questions, and gave us helpful tips about the resort. He also remembered us throughout our stay, always saying hello and checking in to see how things were going, which meant a lot. Experiences like this are why we'd come back. Gustavo and Christian stood out, and several members of the kitchen and restaurant staff also played a big role in making our stay enjoyable. The people here are what make the resort worth returning to.

Food was delicious, service was good as well. Our daughter had so much fun at the kids club, the staff there were so friendly and the pirate show they put on the highlight for kids. There was one whole day where there's was a distribution and no water at all anywhere on the resort which was inconvenient.

The Kids Club and their staffs are the BEST!! The Kids Club staff were so kind, and the programs were excellent! My kid absolutely loved his time there!

An amazing resort with wonderful and very helpful staff. Good food and good with room cleaning service. They helped us with whatever needs we had during our vacation. I love how the property is build and how the have so many pools. Pool service is great and they provide not just drinks on the pool side but food as well. The reception staff is great. We mistakenly book a tropical view room. We told them we want to change the room to ocean view once we saw the room. They helped us out with a smile and we told them that this our second visit to resort, if give us some discount. And they did have a nice discount on the ocean view room. So great hospitality, great food and great staff. Love the resort. And I think I will definitely come back here. If I go Tulum, I will prefer go to Hilton all inclusive. And there outdoor shows are amazing.
