Violets Wonderland Cottage

Location is amazing, upstairs outside terrace was a bonus , accom was very clean and comfortable.

There are a couple of the kitchen spot lights that keep flashing just need to change bulb, the coffee jar will not keep coffee fresh it’s no seal, so coffee was rock hard we left it out so that you can see what I mean , we also never released that the bathroom , toilet were down stairs . But overall really enjoyed our stay

Spiders everywhere spent 10mins upon arriving cleaning spiders from all over the ceilings in the bathroom, kitchen and living room. Cobwebs everywhere. Weird smell every time we walked in. Main bed was tiny Bathroom downstairs Steep stairs with beam to headbutt on way down Hot upstairs (we came in summer) No Parking

The Alice theme was to much in your face in every room. kitchen to small only enough seating at table for 2 people and 2 bar stools in kitchen did not expect shower room to be down stairs of the kitchen would of been better if shower /bathroom upstairs and in one of bedroom bunk beds would if made more sense to have two single beds. in the shower room shower kept dripping although turned of paint coming of the ceiling in the shower room damp in kitchen above the door damp spots and paint coming of ceiling .Not enough seating in the lounge if a family of 4-6 were staying only enough seating for 3 people would not recommend for disabled people and would not say it is a cottage .It is more like a two bed terrace house

We loved our stay it was the best one yet it was very warm and cosy and comfortable and everything about the cottage was a delight everything worked and the situation was fantastic you have everything around you and within walking distance it was such a lovely cottage we would definitely recommend this cottage and would definitely book again

The only thing I would say is the parking situation you won't be able to park outside the cottage but you can park around the surrounding side street and promenade or you could park within the train station at a reasonable price you can pick up and drop off but you won't be able to stay there that's the only thing everything else makes up for that and your car is perfectly safe when you do find somewhere to park

It was near to everything

Well decorated well positioned in the town.

The steepness of the stairs. No upstairs toilet.. The smell, it may have come from the bathroom it hots you as soon as you open the door.

Central location for all amenities. Clean comfortable cottage
